RD Saúde is a publicly traded Company, founded in 2011 from the merger between Droga Raia and Drogasil.

We are building a comprehensive integral health ecosystem that provides customers with a variety of solutions to stay healthy and enjoy a better quality of life.

The 2025 strategy allows us to have a positive impact beyond pharmaceutical retail by delivering health to the population and expanding the provision of integral care through two pillars:

New Pharmacy and Healthcare Platform.

NEW PHARMACY

We offer customers more convenience with a modern, digital and future-oriented pharmacy, while maintaining human and specialized contact.

Espaço Sua Saúde

The Space was designed to offer health and well-being services in our pharmacies, thanks to the humanized care provided by trained pharmacists. In 2023, 1,900 pharmacies already had Espaços Sua Saúde and over 3.5 million services were carried out per month.

HEALTHCARE PLATFORM

Our platform connects products, services and solutions. Customers therefore have the opportunity to improve their health in an integrated way, change habits and benefit from specialized services.

VITAT PORTAL

An online platform for health and wellness engagement that makes our Healthcare Platform a reality by connecting products, services and solutions in a single space. In 2023, we impacted 58.6 million users and had a total of 266,000 people engaged in a program to boost healthy habits. The platform also offers online consultation services with specialists and scheduling of services in the Sua Saúde and Labi spaces.

For the first time, we carried out a Corporate Mental Health Diagnosis to identify employees’ perceptions of the dimensions of mental health impact. Based on this, we defined strategies and action plans

The pilot project took place in 2023 and Casa Farol is scheduled to open in 2024. Our social business aims to bring health and well-being to the population of the less privileged suburbs

Amcham Eco Award

Project to expand the menstrual dignity of young people in the Brazilian North and Northeast. In 2023, 13,925 adolescents benefited directly and indirectly

Recognition in Diversity

We were awarded three diversity recognitions: IDiversa from B3 for Race and Gender; HRC – one of the best companies for LGBTI+ people to work for; and Ethos/Época Negócios for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

RD Saúde University

We reached 17,089 employees trained in the People Code training course and 13,286 in the Human Rights course.

The ESG governance and compliance system offers a full overview of the partner relationship cycle. 100% of private label brand suppliers are approved and audited

Climate Journey

Full scope 3 GHG reporting

we carried out full Scope 3 (supply chain) Greenhouse Gas reporting, identifying all relevant categories

CDP Supply Chain

88% of invited suppliers participated in the CDP Supply Chain, a program to engage the value chain in the climate chain

Waste Management

We developed the construction waste management project, focusing on environmentally friendly practices. In 2023, 30% of construction waste from 137 pharmacies opened or renovated was disposed of correctly

In 2023, we started a pilot project in 20 pharmacies to manage the common waste generated in this operation, using zero landfill as a premise

How we create long-term value

Manufactured Capital

• Opening of 270 pharmacies and three Distribution Centers in the year.

Natural Capital

• 72% of operations supplied with renewable energy (+60% vs. 2022);
• 100% of pharmacies with collection points to dispose expired or unused medicines, with 284 tons collected (+48% vs. 2022);
• 37% of pharmacy services made without using bags and 48% of tax coupon printings avoided.

Social and Relationship Capital

• + BRL 39.8 million allocated to social actions in 2023 for integral health projects;
• Expansion of the social investment strategy, with Theory of Change, which organizes the pillars of action and investments;
• Monitoring the results of social investment through a panel of indicators;
• Implementation of the Farol social business pilot, with 21 activities carried out in São Paulo (SP);
• +BRL 415 thousand donated to professionals through the Emergency Fund.

Financial Capital

• BRL 2,603.2 million of adjusted EBITDA (+15.1% vs. 2022);
• BRL 1,104.8 million of consolidated adjusted net profit;
• BRL 10.5 billion of added value distributed to stakeholders:
• 32% employee compensation;
• 15% third-party compensation;
• 42% government (taxes, fees and contributions);
• 11% shareholders (compensation on equity).

Human Capital

• 7% annual increase in the RD Saúde team;
• Women on Board (WOB) seal, which recognizes companies with gender representation on Boards of Directors;
• Average of 103 training hours per professional;
• 47% of employees identified with chronic illnesses participating in health programs.

Capital Intelectual

• 57% growth in digital channels compared to 2022.

In 2023, we opened 270 pharmacies, totaling 2,953 units spread across all Brazilian states. Altogether, they total BRL36.3 billion in retail revenue, in addition to BRL 5.1 billion through the health and wellness products marketplace. We have 14 distribution centers strategically located.
